Love OurGroceries for iPhone, but hate ads? Get rid of ads by purchasing OurGroceries Plus from inside the OurGroceries app:

Launch OurGroceries.
From the top-level screen, tap the gears icon to open Settings.
Tap the first item, called “Turn Off Ads”. (If it’s not there, go to the App Store and upgrade OurGroceries.)
Tap the “Buy Now” button.

It’s that easy!

Love OurGroceries for Android, but hate ads? Get rid of ads by purchasing the OurGroceries Key, available now in the Android Market! Here are three easy ways to find the Key app in the Market:

Scan the QR code to the right with your Android phone.
Click on the QR code image in your Android phone’s web browser.
Search for “OurGroceries” in the Market on your Android phone.

Installing the OurGroceries Key causes the main OurGroceries app to stop showing ads. Make sure you remember to install the main OurGroceries app too!

OurGroceries v2.0 adds item categories

OurGroceries v2.0 is available now for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and web!

Now create item categories and group items into categories. Shopping lists are now sorted by category, making shopping much faster and easier. Use categories however you wish: for store department (e.g. Produce, Dairy), store aisle (e.g. Aisle 1, Aisle 2), or anything else.

iPhone, Android, and web clients enjoy an easy-to-use drag & drop interface to re-arrange items and categories.

BlackBerry clients can re-arrange categories with a few simple menu commands.

A new version of OurGroceries has been released (1.2.0 on iPhone and BlackBerry, 1.3.0 on Android) that adds many small and frequently-requested features:

Crossed-off items stay on your shopping lists until you clear them with a single touch.
You can now SMS and email a list to someone who doesn't have OurGroceries.
A new setting for whether to show remembered items alphabetically or by most-often-used on the Add Item screen.
A new setting for whether to automatically show the on-screen keyboard when adding an item.
A new setting for which screen to show at start-up.
A new setting to adjust the list item text size. (Android only)
A new setting to disable the app icon's badge count. (iPhone only)

OurGroceries adds support for multiple shopping lists

Version 1.1.2 of OurGroceries is available on the App Store. Changes in this release include:

You can make multiple shopping lists. (The previous version could only have one.)
When adding an item, the list of suggestions is sorted by how often you add the item, putting the most often added items first. This reduces the number of letters you have to type to find your item.
You can now swipe to delete a shopping list, recipe, or list item.
